Do you need a Wall Vinyl Sample to make sure the Vinyl will stick to your wall and it won't fall off? Do you want to test the material before you commit to a big purchase?
THIS LISTING IS FOR YOU!
I use Wall Interior Vinyl (low tack) and Wall Interior Self-Adhesive Polyester Fabric (low tack) Both are removable and the adhesion to walls varies depending on the wall paint applied to that wall. For that reason, it is always a good idea to try it out before committing to a big purchase.
WHAT’S INCLUDED ON YOUR ORDER:
• Removable Digitally printed Vinyl SAMPLE (could be a woodland animal) no less than 12" wide but not more than 18" wide.
• Removable Oracal Vinyl SAMPLE (this is the material I use on the trees and lettering) shape could vary. This sample will be no less than 10" wide but no more than 18" wide.
• Removable Self-Adhesive Polyester Fabric SAMPLE (could be a woodland animal) no less than 12" wide but not more than 18" wide.
• Step by Step Application Instructions and tool/s.
Wall graphics must be applied to a clean, smooth (slight textured is acceptable), dry and non-porous surface in a timely manner, preferably within 4 weeks of receiving your shipment. Freshly applied paint should be allowed to cure for a minimum of 4 full weeks before wall graphic application. Your decals will peel off the wall if the paint is still not cured (due to the out gassing) or if the paint is not compatible with removable decals.
Do you know what kind of paint is on your wall?
Because the paint formulations are protected by trade secrets, it is difficult for any removable vinyl decal manufacturer to understand how film adhesives interact with these paints.
LIST OF PAINTS YOU SHOULDN'T USE IF YOU PLAN TO USE VINYL DECALS:
(I will try to keep this list updated)
BEHR PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA® Interior Paints with Stain-Clocking Paint and Primer
Dutch Boy® Dura Clean® Ceiling Interior Latex Paint + Primer with Stay-Clean Formula
SHERWIN WILLIAMS Stain-Blocking Paint.
KILZ PREMIUM High Hide Stainblocker.
We have found through extensive testing that there is no single vinyl decal or adhesive that works “best” on each paint tested. In fact, one vinyl decal can perform well on one paint and poorly on another paint.
What happens if I purchase a printed vinyl decal and I have painted my walls with one of these paints on the list? The deal will fall off the wall like this:
However, by following the guide on Adhesion Cleaning Method prior to installation, and our PRO TIPS during installation, you can quickly, easily and successfully prepare your wall to accept vinyl decals. If you have not done so and need help re-applying your falling off the wall decals, read this.
